A Rounded Souvenir 14 May 2011
By S. Thomas #1 HALL OF FAME TOP 10 REVIEWER
Format:Hardcover
I wanted a souvenir of the Royal Wedding and initially decided to download the kindle version of this book, based on the outlined content from the 'hardback' product page. It is worth noting that the kindle version is text only so it does not really measure up as a wedding souvenir due to the lack of any photographs; I therefore purchased the hardback version of the book instead.

Andrew Morton's biography covers their childhoods through to their time at university, the ups and downs of their relationship to the date of their marriage. Well-known background information about the Royal family and lesser known facts about the Middletons is also included. It is well written and easy to read, with ample colour photographs throughout (except for the kindle version, which is text only). The wedding itself is covered in the last 30 pages.

I enjoyed reading the book over the course of an evening and am happy to be giving it a place on my bookcase. If you are looking for a souvenir of the wedding alone however, this may disappoint as the majority of the book deals with the years leading up to the big day; that is, it is not solely a picture book to commemorate the wedding itself.

A Royal Romance 12 May 2011
By Parents in Touch TOP 500 REVIEWER
Format:Hardcover
What an achievement! Michael O'Mara Books managed to produce a truly top-quality book within just a few days of THE wedding, with absolutely no compromise on quality. This is a book to treasure as a record of a wonderful occasion. Andrew Morton, biographer of the late Princess of Wales, has a unique insight into the Royal Family, and this perception is clearly displayed throughout the book. Thye book covers the early life of both; their early days together and the break-up; getting back together,; the engagement and the wedding preparations. The book culminates with a wonderful chapter on the wedding day itself, rich with photographs that capture the spirit of the day and the romance of it all - they create a perfect collection that includes all the key moments which we will all remember. An enthralling portrait of William and Catherine and a superb memento of the day, lavishly illustrated throughout and produced superbly. Congratulations to Michael O'Mara Books.

Loved it! 12 May 2011
By ivorco
Format:Hardcover
I love this book. It is well written and starts with both William and Catherine's lives seperately, together, the breakup and then the wedding. There are lots of pictures as well which makes it a beautiful souvenir of the wedding as well as being an informative book about the royal couple.
