Format:Mass Market Paperback
I enjoy Richmal Crompton's William books very much. They are collections of short stories which she apparently had published in a magazine, originally, until they were all collected into books. William's scrapes, ingenuity, and his outlook on the world are all very funny. However, I felt that this book does not contain her finest stories; that could possibly be because some of the collections duplicate the same stories & sometimes there is a crossover when one story is pretty much like another. This is readable & enjoyable but it is not Richmal Crompton at her creative & funniest best.
