This is a good all-round text for quick reference to most aspects of Occupational Therapy and has proved exremely useful throughout my student course. I feel it has been more useful than the other larger textbooks available such as 'Occupational Therapy and Physical Dysfunction'(Turner, Foster and Johnson 1996) which is commonly recommended to students. If you simply wish to clarify a point on occupational practice, or find a reference to quote on practice - this is the book you need. A goldmine of information, this text is divided into easy to manage chapters and has proven to be a great source for greater clarification of themes covered through each module.

This book is a must have for Occupational Therapy degree courses. It was in the recommended reading list for my course and Im glad it was. I have used it throughout, particularly for quotes or clarifying details. The index is pretty good. The only minor negative is that its American. But it shouldn't put anyone off. Its the most regularly used book in my collection.
