S. Mogensen says:
I still haven't purchased season 1, and am debating whether I should wait for season 2 to come out as well. However, would prefer to get the original release with George Bush's head in it...

Anyone know whether this release will be the "updated" version? or the original?

David says:
The original unedited set (with Bush head and uncensored commentary track) has been deleted not to mention withdrawn from ALL retailers now. Even the current standard editions (available now) are edited. The only way to pick-up the original uncut version is via eBay...

My local Sainsbury's has lots of these original sets, for £33 on Blu-ray! May be worth a look, for those who want it.

The original sets have been re-issued but look identical; your Sainsburys in all likelihood are selling the now censored/edited version as HBO have a very strict policy on withdrawing stock.

I'm sorry, but who cares? They edited a 2 second shot of a head on a spike and removed commentary about it. It's not like it'll change anything at all...

M. Garrib says:
Did they remove the whole commentary track or just the segment talking about the head?

The original version doesn't exist? Here on amazon, there are this version and two others(digipack and amaray i suppose), right?
