Will a UK brought Wii work in Brazil? I guess the video signal might be a problem. What does a UK Wii provide in the way of component video out?

I have one bought in the uk that I use in Argentina. It works on my telly here, but only in black and white. There are some TVs that will work in colour with no problems, but you'd have to check when buying the TV.

Well it is different UK (Pal) Brazil (Pal-M) We had a nintendo game cube a few years back and only worked black&white in Brazil, even in the newest TVs. Not sure about Wii but would be nice if someone could actually confirm it.
Thank You x

I have set up my UK wii on my Toshiba plasma screen (which I bought 3 months ago) in Sao Paulo with no probs. There was no scart so just used the audio and video cables.
