This is a great book for the ordinary person who wants to get into money ladder.
This is one of those books I didn`t initially care to read because of the too flashy title(other being 7 habits of highly effective people). As the saying goes-don`t judge a book by its cover-even it is too flashy to be good.
As many critics has pointed out-this might be common advice that is freely available anywhere. But as an ordinary person, I haven`t found these advices before--and more importantly, I wouldn`t have realized the importance of it. Ramit clearly points out what to be done and explains why.
The best thing about this book is that it puts a lot of "common" advice into a highly readable single whole.(It clearly says what to do - and not think positive to be rich philosophy although I have nothing against it) Particularly the automation system which takes a lot of money/savings worry out of your mind. It also gives clear concise information about share market-for the first in my life I understood the difference between shares, bonds, funds etc.
