I absolutely love Will & Grace and couldn't wait to finally get my hands on this lovely boxset as the release kept getting delayed for some reason! I bought it about a month ago and have just finished watching the entire series and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute! The only negative about this set, in my opinion, is the lack of subtitles for the majority of the seasons, as I am one of those people who likes to watch tv with subtitles on (don't ask me why, it's just a habit I've got into!). The picture quality is occasionally grainy and unfocused but it only happens now and again and I can live with it. Some reviewers have complained about heavily-edited episodes. Well, I only started watching Will & Grace after it came off the air and was being re-run on Channel 4 on weekday mornings a few years ago, and it was obvious to me at the time that some scenes were edited. These seem to be included in the boxset versions of the episodes but if any other saucy gags have been edited out from the original episodes, then I'm not aware of them and the omissions have not in any way affected my enjoyment of the show as i can't miss what I never saw in the first place. I must sing the praises of this quality show: the characters are so funny and the writing is so witty and clever. I love Will, Jack and Karen in particular. In fact, Karen may just be the funniest and coolest character on tv EVER!!! The show also has real heart and some of my favourite scenes are the more emotional ones between Will and Grace. I also love Blythe Danner as Will's mum and Sydney Pollack as Will's dad, and possibly my favourite episode of the entire series is one of the final episodes, "Blanket Apology", which is very emotional and dramatic. It must also be mentioned that the show attracted a huge number of guests stars during its run and this is testament to what a great show it was. Particularly memorable for me were Woody Harrelson, John Cleese, Taye Diggs, Alec Baldwin, Glenn Close, Michael Douglas and Macaulay Culkin (actually it was very disconcerting watching "Kevin from Home Alone" act so "grown up" in a scene with Karen!) but I could mention many, many more. So aside from the subtitles issue, I am extremely happy to be the owner of this boxset of one of my favourite shows, to be enjoyed by me whenever I am in the mood for some great tv!
