If you ever wondered what it's like to be raised by parents who are Jehovah's Witnesses, you simply must read this book. As one who has read it... and re-read it, I can tell you that you just won't be able to put it down!!! Many people have the impression that Jehovah's Witnesses have all been raised in such a family, but, this is not true in most cases. For the most part they were raised following a different religion, or by parents who were of a different persuasion. Perhaps they didn't grow up knowing anything at all about our Creator. I happen to be one who did not really know much about God until I became an adult. In my early 20's I decided to get to know more about our great God, Jehovah. I did so by an in-depth study of the Bible with someone like Charles Manns, the author of "I Will Always Remember".
The book is written by somebody who can tell you first hand what it's like, not only to grow up knowing Jehovah, but what it is to have loving parents who, through thick and thin, were always there for Charles and his siblings. This family had their perils and struggles, as the account well illustrates. Yet, thru it all they always kept in mind one objective. That is to live honest moral lives, serving our one true God. In so doing, they set the finest example for their children to follow.
This first hand account has been a pleasure to read. And, once you've read it you'll likely keep it on hand, as I do, to go back and re-read over and over. You'll be glad you have read it and will want to share it with others, I'm sure.
