Lovely book, very well researched and full of really practical information, brought to life by Dru Marland's beautiful illustrations. Lots of birds and mammals use my garden and watching them gives me hours of pleasure. I wanted to find out more about how I could help local wildlife in return - and this book has been a boon. It contains useful details on how one can contact wildlife rescue centres, all over the country, and the index makes it easy to find the relevant advice quickly. I found the book invaluable when I found an injured hedgehog in my garden. I followed the advice given in the book and was able to keep the hedgehog alive and transport it safely to the nearest wildlife rescue centre.

I bought this book for my Aunt and she could not praise it enough. The style is very easy to follow and the hand drawn illustrations complement the written content very well.
If you are involved in wildlife rehabilitation this book is a good one to have on the shelf ready to go when a casualty comes in
