Product Description

Launched by the GPO in 1965 as a fashionable alternative to its regular models, it was in the 1970s that the TrimPhone became commonplace. TRIM stands for Tone Ringer Illuminated Model: it was the first phone to ring using a modern electronic warbler rather than the traditional bell mechanism, and on the earlier models the dial glowed in the dark. By 1980 there were 1.6 million in use throughout the UK. This replica version has all the style and features of the 1970s original but with modern push button dialling. Features ? Authentic styling ? Push Button Dialing ? Redial Button ? Ringer Off /Soft/Loud Switch ? Simply plugs into a standard phone socket

I had seen this model of phone out and about for a lot more than I paid..so utter bargain. The turquoise one is a tad darker than it looks online but I'm very happy with it. Only reason I'm not giving it full marks is because the ringer is very very quiet. It's very comfortable to hold and rest on your ear and just looks the biz!

Just the ticket to replace my old phone with the usual boring beige colour.

Brightens up the hallway and its now a pleasure to make phone calls.

Easy to use and sound quality is good.

I love this trim phone and it has such character but in the photo it looks blue which is why we purchased it, and actually it is a greeny, aqua colour. Still very beautiful but not the colour we were hoping for. So just be aware that the colour on the photographs can be misleading.

Wild and Wolf Trim Phone - Turquoise, New Phone.
Plugged it in and it worked right away,incoming/outgoing sound are perfect, hold call button works fine, redial working perfectly, ringtone set at a level that suits me ,so everything is working exactly as it should.I noticed that some reviewers said the colour was much lighter than they expected but mine is exactly as it appears on the accompanying picture, however I also noticed that another trim phone labled as Turquoise is most definitely a lot liqhter, more like an Aqua or almost neon green. If it`s any help for those looking for the deeper Turquoise I got mine from an Amazon supplier called liGo.

Bit greener than on some pics but still really like it. A very cool phone, people always comment on it. Good volume ring and the call quality id fine, despite what some people say, just remember you are speaking on the phone, not on Skype.

This is a cute phone and has a nice retro look about it. However it is cheap and plasticy and the receiver seems to wobble about. Considering the price I paid for it on here I can tolerate this. However if I had paid the £40 plus it is going for on other sites I would have returned it for an immediate refund cos I don't think it is worth that price. Overall I would say it is acceptable.
