I bought this as a christening gift for my nephew. Initially I had searched for a plate and bowl set, but most were either melanine or not suitable for a boy. Luckily for me Amazon identified this product when I went through to the 'checkout' as a similar item to what I was about to buy. I immediately changed my order to buy this set. When it arrived and I saw it in the flesh I loved it so much I sent off for another one for my daughter. It is beautifully made with fantastic illustrations. If you like the Gruffalo story your household isn't complete without this breakfast set.

Bought this from 'Baby and Me' as a present for a small child and it arrived broken. Had to rush to purchase substitute on the day it was required from a well known, high street, competitor to Amazon, as there was no time to send it back once it had eventually arrived. Product was absolutely loved!, by the recipient, however, I shall not be purchasing from the seller ever again due to the lack of/poor customer service. They have the broken item returned to them and will be refunded via insurance for the breakage. I, however, am out of pocket in money as well as time. Please be aware when purchasing, that unless it is Amazon itself, the good standard of customer service that we are entitled to as customers is not across the board.

lovely breakfast set bought for a christening present, would appreciate the same gift if given to me as looks really good quality and comes in nice presentation box. Only slight dissapointment was that the plate was a little small but i should've read the dimensions before buying!

Fun crockery set
Both I and my little boy love this Gruffalo set. Especially when he is drinking down or eating down to see the picture inside the cup / bowl.

Very good quality
Very good quality set. The porcelain is heavier than adult crockery so great for those little accidents. They have also washed very well in the dishwasher.
