I love this telephone. It has a great weight to it, plus a real bell for the ringer. I needed a telephone for my home office, and wanted something classic, simple and wired in, so I always knew where it was! A great product, at a great price from this company and the delivery was pretty quick too.

A classic design and well worth every penny! The handset has a nice heft to it and it sounds great, even when calling overseas. There's no echo, as I've sometimes experienced with cheaper phones. Plus, you can't put a price on feeling like a character on Mad Men every time you pick up the phone!

looks nice, has a nice build quality, but after a week didn't work properly

Pleased when I received it. It felt well made, looked stylish. I like the retro look, that's mainly why I bought it, (apart from being able to make and receive phone calls with it)
After a week, found that I wasn't getting a dial tone. Checked that everything was plugged in, correctly, still no dial tone. Fiddled about with the phone, dial tone came back. Then I was on the phone to someone, and during the conversation, the volume faded until I couldn't hear the person on the other end any more, though they could hear me. Put the receiver down, more fiddling with cables and connections, checked the volume control etc, made sure it was set on high. This problem is recurring,in the middle of a call the volume fades, or I pick up the receiver and there is no audible dial tone, so obviously I will be returning it. Maybe I've just got a dud, and a replacement would be OK, but I have no time to mess about, so I will be seeking a refund.

Stopped working
I've had same problem as another reviewer. Phone has broken, I can hear but can't be heard. It's just outside guarantee period, so can't send it back.

Poor quality
Purchased it a year ago but just started using it today : the speaker doesn't work, I can't be heard. I can throw it away, it's as good as useless. So disappointed.
