This cool Old West Shooting Set is a safe and fun way for kids to do target practice. The old west style gun shoots an electronic laser beam up to 20 feet away ! It plays authentic western saloon music and the cans and bottles fly off the log when hit by the guns harmless infrared beam. It even makes realistic gun shot and glass breaking sounds ! This classic toy comes with gun, log, two cans & two bottles which break in half (but can be put back together and reused again & again) when you "shoot" them.

This is a lightweight plastic toy with fairly cheesy design and visuals (labels, etc). When the target is hit, it makes a nice loud POP sound as the targets goes flying several inches into the air before falling back to earth. My 12-year-old son scoffed loudly when he saw the toy in the box, then he and his best friend spent the next 2 hours shooting the targets. I generally consider the birthday gift a success. We found it very interesting that our TV remote control sets off the unit, sending the targets sailing whenever they happen to be reset and we change the TV channel.

One of my co-workers received it for Christmas and brought it in. It has given a bunch of computer geeks a lot of entertainment and a good way to blow off stress.
The toy has a max range of about 40 feet. The target is fairly accurate though the vertical targeting is not too important ... it's all about the left and right targeting.

This toy was easy to use and explain to others how to use. I used this for interaction during a customer appreciation day and was a BIG hit. Lots of fun for customes to try and use.
