I bought this as a stocking filler for Christmas - we had bought something similar on a day out and my daughter loved chipping away to find the dinosaur inside. The issue with this one is that you truly have to excavate.. in that the dinosaur is in pieces and you have to find every bit ( and some bits are small). My daughter was frustrated - I know it was a little present and its not expensive but it took ages to find the bits and then it needed gluing together and then it snaps easily. Saying that my daughter loves the final result but its messy fiddly snaps easily ( the stress when a major piece broke in two!!!!) . Nice idea but there are different versions on the market which come out whole and when you are dealing with the patience of a 4 year old may be better!
