Product Description

This is the first book of the ‘Wild Lover’ series, written in the delicious and sensual style of Natalie Wild.

Mia Tennyson hates fishing, but she books a charter trip in an attempt to save her floundering relationship. When her boyfriend dumps her via text as she stands on the dock, even the charter captain’s handsome face and chiseled body can’t distract her from her heartache. As the day goes on, however, Blaine Daniels’ kindness and concern for her wellbeing starts to chip away at her pain. She finds herself making love to him in the boat’s tiny cabin, and thinks the breakup may have been a blessing in disguise. Blaine is evasive, however, and Mia can’t lose the feeling he’s hiding something from her. Mia must decide whether she’s willing to risk another heartache on a man who seems likely to disappear over the horizon.

This ebook contains very hot and explicit descriptions of romantic activity. Only mature readers should download this book.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not My Cup O' Tay 19 May 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I found this short story to be quite unappealing. It did little to hold my interest and I had little sympathy for the two characters. I felt the writing had been rushed and in consequence I was uncertain whether Blaine Daniels was English or American. Also some of the imagery was strange. For example Mia, the main female character, decides that in order to keep her boyfriend happy she will try to show an interest in his recreational activities. She states that she " decided to throw Jeff a bone". A strange metaphor. To throw a bone is a casual action of an owner to a pet dog! Perhaps it was little wonder their affair simply fell apart
.
The tale becomes too predictable. It is no surprise to find Mia's two year relationship "on the rocks" .No surprise at all to find her thrown into the company of an older male who is both good looking and as we discover a very wealthy business man. In fact, it's just the kind of encounter that happens to a tearful young woman who's been jilted. But, we needn't be too concerned because within a day of meeting her handsome boat owner she is having energetic sex with him in the moored craft with promise of more sexual athletics to follow.

From start to finish I found the tale repetitive and difficult to believe. There has to be more than just explicit sexual episodes. This is a personal viewpoint. I am more interested in novels such as "Quinn" which explore what is happening beneath the surface i.e.in the consciousness and unconsciousness of the protagonists and I realise this is difficult to portray in a short story such as this.

1.0 out of 5 stars I wasn't looking for a Nobel price but.... 12 Jun 2014

First chapter had spelling errors so I didn't bother with the rest. Call me weird but if you publish something at least make sure your grammar is perfect and that you know the difference between 'your' and 'you're'...
