5.0 out of 5 stars A great read, 25 Jul 2007
By Dr. E. P. ffrench-Constant (Cornwall, UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
A beautifully written account of the author's experiences with the wildlife and the people involved in the wild places of Zimbabwe; witty and very entertaining, well observed and passionate, understated and fair. If you know anything of southern Africa it will strike a cord and with today's awareness of conservation everyone will pick up the message of the fragility of these truely wild places.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Different Zimbabwe, 2 Feb 2009
Very amusingly written account of a guy's experience in Zimbabwe as he is sucked into a world of conversation. His writing reminds me of Bill Bryson and I would strongly recommend this to anyone.
