We own all of the Touch and Feel series, and my 15-month-old son loves them all. This one is his favorite because the textures are so different--the rough lizard, the sticky tree frog, and the furry lion. It keeps him busy at church, on plane flights, and at other times when his attention needs to be directed in a quiet manner. I would buy more of these books if there were more published!

Our daughter absolutely loves this book. It is better than any other book/toy/blanket I have ever seen on textures for infants/toddlers to touch. Our daughter particularly loves animals, so she loves the pictures as well. I plan to buy the farm one, too.

I like the simplicity of this book, it has few words, good photos and varied textures for the child to explore. It kept my 9 month old son interested for a while and I feel it is a good introduction to the world of books. Although it is a board book I am not sure whether it will withstand a lot of wear and tear so its one for the book shelf rather than the toy box.
