I'm not sure what to say about this book. It certainly has some good points - but they are outweighed by the formulaic "romance" cliches littering every single sentence. This book is not subtle or charming or clever.
I felt like a duck being forcefed grain until my liver was fit to bursting.
However, if you want an obvious book about the machinations of sex then you will not be disappointed. If you want something that appeals on more than one level, that is like the seduction you are reading about then head off to read, "Coffee Sonata" by Gun Brooke or "Madame President" by Cooper and Nolan.
Sorry to sound so negative (I do not like giving books bad reviews on the whole because it is rather subjective...although here it is more than that)
