No help: but same here, got one today and wifi not working.
Site has a really strong signal (checked on iPhone) and the signal is open and is in use from laptops and phones without problems.

Tried a reset to default (just deletes personal data, so not too worried about that on a new device), at least that made the SID show up and I was able to connect for a few minutes. Tablet then started the same drop of signals. It would randomly say it couldn't scan networks, sometimes not display its MAC-address (under settings). Really frustrating.

Now at home at set the wifi to 100% open. Still same symptoms.
So either the driver is crap or the wifi chip is gone.
Tempted to try another firmware/distro: cause this is clearly a problem with the tablet/OS.

Darryl - I've upgraded to Universal Uberoid WM8650 1.5.5 HoneyCombMOD v9.1.2 and that fixed my wifi (even WPA2 now working).
(see my reply in "New Firmware Released. --> Slatedroid Singularity M009s FINAL v4 thread"). Your mileage may wary and this might break your warranty;
but it did fix my problems (on a tablet received this week).

same problem here - i connect to wifi says signal strength excellent then after 10 to 15 seconds it disconnects itself. I am not willing to install anything that will invalidate my warranty . One upset teenage daughter today

Obviously an ongoing problem with these tablets. Contacted the company I bought it from and they gave me my money back. Didn't even want the old one back!!

Hi I got given a NATPC M009S 7 inch 2gb Google Android Tablet PC for Christmas. As I have Talk Talk broadband I purchased a HUAWEI521 router so I could go wireless and thus access the internet on the tablet. The router works fine on my laptop but the tablet won't recognise it. It has picked up wifi in a hotel in Paris and from a friend's broadband connection at his house but it will not recognise my TalkTalk broadband even when I connect it to the laptop. Has anybody got any ideas please? Having just read M J C Eades' post has anybody ever tried to contact Wendy Lou and gotten their money back?

I have one of these NATPC tablets, the same problems exist. The wi-fi doesn't work. I've e-mailed the Amazon Market Place seller, but they have never responded. Certainly wont be recommending them to anyone! Amazon to be contacted now to see what, if anything, they suggest re: getting a response from the seller.

I seem to be having the same wifi problem! What is going on? I received my tablet, a NATPC M009s got all excited, turned on the wifi which it identified then told me there was an authentication problem and wouldn't connect. It's got a password which I put in - said password has worked with all other devices. But not this. If it can't be resolved and by the look of the other posts it should have been - it will be going back. Sorry Wendy but with so many people complaining about similar problems someone should have looked into it. There is obviously a design flaw somewhere. And one that needs to be rectified if sales are expected to continue.

As a postscript I contacted Wendy who pointed me to a link that explained connection problems. A few minutes of fiddling and I was up and running - so far so good. Tantrum over! Thanks Wendy for a prompt response. The link was http://www.asianfonesforum.com/showthread.php?t=2272 if this helps anyone else.

I have normal working NATPC 7" tablet. But after I plug in Huawei Three 3G dongle it stop my WiFi. It doesn't find the router on scanning. The Three 3G dongle works fine. I had to reset the tablet (means all personal data gone). It happens all the time.

I've bought 2 NATPC's and have just had someone else's with the same problem - the solution is to set the timezone and the date/time then try again and you should find it will work.
