I bought this book after reading the synopsis.. However, I was disappointed with the actual story.
Angelo has literally NO morals, or maybe those of an alley cat. He's having an affair with the married cousin of Elena, the heroine of the story. Even after the wedding he's out carousing with the potential of starting another liason... Elena, knows about the affair with her cousin and still agrees to sleep with him to produce an heir, I'm sorry but she come's across to me as totally spineless. Neither of them made me want to either "root for either of them", or "feel for them". I've read a number of Sara Craven's work but I think this could be her worst.

Very slow 10 July 2011
Format:Paperback
Very slow. Nearly gave up, but kept reading hoping it would improve, which it didn't, then the end seemed rushed. Not one of her best. Unfortunately it will be going straight into the charity shop bag

I wholly appreciate it must be very difficult to bring a new angle/storyline to a M&B story but this was just beyond ridiculous I thought!

As if anyone in Europe is made to marry someone because they are caught in bed (innocently)together in this day and age! That annoyed me straight away!

The story then went on to describe that he came to her bed and 'performed' whilst she just lay there (although she was secretly in love with him) he just performed, said nothing then left the bed - What a load of rubbish!

And the end of the book is nothing short of ridiculous! (I wont spoil it) but I would advise you to buy something else its rubbish!
