An absolutley amazing book. I cried all the way through!
Brutally honest, I was blown away by the emotional intensity and feeling. The author has written a truly heartfelt and intensly personal record of her love and loss and how she dealt with the grief.
For me it was one incredible journey as a reader. Fantastically written.

Love and Loss 13 Aug 2009
Format:Hardcover
This book is breathtakingly honest and I do mean that quite literally! The way it describes love and loss so brutally makes you want to hug the person you love and be truly grateful for what you have. It's a rare book that can evoke such spirit and amazing that a person can bear to write about what they lived through so intelligently. There is an awful lot to get out of this book; far more than just `make em cry' trash it really draws the reader through the joy and desperation and out the other side. Anyone that needs to do some thinking about love and loss should take notice and forget self help books - read this.

Wife Interrupted 18 Aug 2009
Format:Hardcover
Totally Absorbing!
This book is an extremely powerful and courageous account of how a young woman, overwhelmed with grief, finds her way through life. The author writes with scalding honesty about her feelings on living with, and survival after the death of, her ternminally ill husband who displayed such unbelievable and insurmountable courage. In this moving account, the author examines the kaleidoscope of emotions experienced by herself, family and friends, as she does what is necessary to live again. This book is written from the heart and, although some scenes are unbearably heartbreaking, the essence of this story is 'Love.' In parts, it is so tenderly and beautifully written that I felt it was an emotional celebration of an extraordinary love - as a reader I found myself grieving for a man I have never even met and a love I never shared.
I applaud this woman's courage and honesty.
