The original and the best, from the first page to the last we are taken in to the amazing and gripping world of the Widows. Dolly, Linda, Bella and Shirley plan and carry out the imposs and get away with it. Still think this book and the other could be made in to an amazing film and not that car crash the Americans did with it (if you havent seen it, dont) Never to be remade as a remake of the series as it just wouldnt work with any other actors especially couldnt work with out Ann Mitchell. So until the series is rerun on Gold grab this book and a coffee, put ya feet up and be gripped from cover to cover.

For a person not used to English idioms, it may present the reader with some amusement or confusion. Nevertheless, it certainly brings flavour to the book.
By todays standards, the plot is very simple, with a predictable outcome. Nevertheless, it does bring considerable humour to a genre that is often very seriously demarcated as the criminals and police.
A light easy quick read, that does keep your interest.
