I remember seeing the television series of Widows back in the 1990's and thought that was brilliant. I am a huge Lynda La Plante fan and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is probably not my favourite La Plante novel, but it is gripping and I love the characters.

I'm a big fan of Lynda Laplante's writing, but didn't find this book quite as tense and gripping as some others. Advantage is that it is a fairly "quick read" so great for a plane journey or the beach.
A present for my sister in law who is an avid fan of this author- she has read the book and said it was very good - also good value

A bit like Martina Cole
I am a bit fan of Lynda La Plante and have read most of her books. This was easy to read and was in the style of Martina Cole.
