By Mr. H TOP 1000 REVIEWER VINE™ VOICE
Format:Audio CD
That great bane of the spellchecker, Chris Impellitteri, is back with his latest album, one that sees the return of Mr Rob Rock on vocals, for the first time in six years. So, if I was to tell you that this is a folk fusion jazz album with trip hop overtones, you'd know that either I'm a liar, or that I've taken leave of my senses. Both reasonable conclusions, but it's the former. For this is another mighty fine installment of shred driven, melodic power metal.

Something that may come as a bit of a relief for Impellitteri fans who've had their patience tested with recent developments. But, panic over, this is a return to form for the guitar maestro who seems to have rediscovered his passion for all things metal.

There are some mightily impressive riffs on display, attached to some really good songs, which will see fans taking the likes of 'Garden Of Eden', 'The Vision' and the delightfully old school metal sound of 'High School Revolution' very much to heart.

With an excellent production and strong performances from all concerned, including drummer Brandon Wild and bassist James Pulli, this is one to enjoy.

Best album 8 Dec 2010
Format:Audio CD
This is the best impellitteri cd to date, very catchy songs, i can't deseagree more with the other review, all from Rainbow to heavy metal to progressive, last years best album can be listen to again and again, so go buy it and support this super guitarrist. I dont have all impellitteri cd'es and are not a hardcore fan, but that doesent make the album less good

Best Rob Rock Impellitteri Album 18 April 2009
By Raymond Westrope - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
Shawn Lane Who? Dragonforce? I don't know if it is intentional, but it sounds like Chris Impellitteri set out to settle the debate on who the fastest guitar player is. He shreds on this album like never before, & I mean good shred that says something meaningful musically. Some of the other guys sound like they just throw practicing scales as fast as they can into their music. Chris is an exceptional, way underrated guitarist & song writer. I love this album. The tone is the best Impellitteri has ever achieved. I wanna say it's their best album, but I personally think that goes to "Pedal to the Metal". This IS the best Rob Rock Impellitteri album. Don't miss out on an incredible album.

Return of Rob Rock to Impellitteri! 19 Mar 2009
By Lennard Van Wyk - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
First off, I am a huge Rob Rock fan, and the combination of Chris Impellitteri and Rob Rock has always been a killer combination for me.I only have the Impellitteri albums that has Rob Rock on vocals, so I will compare this album to Crunch.I think with all the anticipation and waiting for this album, I expected a little bit more.Although after giving this cd a 3rd and 4th listen, I am starting to enjoy it more and more.
This is not a bad cd, I think Crunch is a little bit better. There is nothing new here, fast guitar riffing, soaring vocals. If you are a die hard Impellitteri fan, and you enjoy Rob Rock on vocals, then I suggest getting this cd.

a great return 27 Jun 2009
By G. Grossbier - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
a great album with rob rock back makes this worth this import price. While it blows away his last effort 'pedal to the metal' , it does not top 'eye of the hurricane'.
