SO cool - love this is Japanese as much as the original! 8 Dec. 2013
By J. Salzenstein - Published on Amazon.com

Even if you have no knowledge of Japanese, if you're a fan of Wicked in English, you'll love this version as well. Some people have complained about the use of the original score as backing, but seriously- get over it. I actually loved listening to how well they could translate and interpret the original English lyrics to Japanese - and still manage to retail the nuances, etc. of the original. Highly recommended for die-hard fans.
"Iwau" (to "celebrate," in Japanese 14 Dec. 2013
By Ralph D. Finch - Published on Amazon.com

This is a bit odd, but ...
If you are "of an age" you can remember "watching" radio programs, before TV. When TV came in you no longer had to think about things, but when you had to "watch" with your ears you were required to use your imagination to increase your enjoyment of the stories.
A: I don't speak Japanese, but B: I love "Wicked," a most delightful and rewarding musical that I've SEEN a half-dozen times. So, listening to the great Japanese cast causes a little more brain involvement as you enjoy (and re-create) the wonderful songs ... and after awhile you don't notice that they aren't singing in English. So, "iwau" ("to celebrate," in Japanese ... I think).
