A Fantastic read 18 Oct 2001
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
I've been reading this book to both my 10 and 8 year olds, but my 10 year old got impatient and started reading ahead! It's hard to put down and my wife wants to read it now after overhearing so much of it. I certainly enjoyed it! In a fast-paced story it takes on such issues as step families with ease. Chapters alternate between Rory and Dawn (step-siblings) as the story teller. The concept works amazingly well. Contains some Aussie slang which might confuse some readers, but usually easy to work out by context. I'm now looking for other books by the same authors.

Reading this book to my younger cousins (who don't enjoy reading much,) they absolutely loved the Wicked! books.

Continuing from The Slobberers, Rory and Dawn must now fight the Slobberers, Killer Sheep and Giant Frogs and still try and save their parents.

This book was thoroughly enjoyed by me and my cousins who thought of the whole series as very imaginative and original and have read the books several times now, they just can't get enough of it. A good read for kids aged 10-14.

Wicked! 28 Mar 2003
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
When i first bought this when i was about 12 it sounded exciting and i still definately think so.
Even my younger sister who doesn't enjoy reading much, thoroughly enjoyed this book about Rory and Dawn trying to save their parents from bone sucking slugs. The idea was quite original from what i read from before which made me enjoy it more.
Afterwards my sister and i couldn't wait to read the next book and we weren't dissappointed.
