This is the complete WICK Omnibus Edition, and includes the completely re-edited and expanded text of USA Today Bestselling Author Michael Bunker's four WICK series books.

"...beautiful and haunting..."

"...Tolstoyan, and beautiful..."

"...positively anarchic..."

"Michael Bunker goes way beyond writing a popular thriller: he clearly has a literary agenda, making the W1CK series so rich and so deep you could analyse each and every page and write a whole book about it. I guess you'd have to call it W1CK1P3D1A." ~ Max Zaoui, Everyone's a Critic Reviews

In WICK 1... a man walked out of New York City after Hurricane Sandy and fell off the edge of the earth...

In WICK 2: Charm School... a mysterious town explodes in violence and America is dealt a deadly blow...

In WICK 3: Exodus... the world is without power. You are on foot and have no home. Any stranger you meet may kill you... and normal is never coming back.

In WICK 4: One Word of Truth... Weeks after the world has been crippled by massive EMP attacks, nuclear weapons are used on major cities, and survivors grapple with a changed world that may never be the same again.

In this much anticipated WICK Omnibus Edition, Michael Bunker's completed WICK series is finally bound into one earth-shattering novel.

5.0 out of 5 stars An epic chronicle of catastrophe and survival 10 Aug. 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
A bestselling self-published collection of four novellas chronicling the downfall of society as we know it which begins as one man's journey away from a hurricane-ravaged city to return home and quickly turns into a Cold War thriller spiced with mind-bending plot twists and genuine tension .

As the destruction snowballs, the remaining characters caught up in this mayhem are thoughtfully portrayed, now being guided and misguided by fear and the need for survival. Morality is no longer black and white and it's not so easy to judge people in this situation when you start to ponder what you might have done in their place.

The feel and pace of each section is quite different, masterfully blending real-world recent historical events with equally masterful fiction while asking many questions about how far we are prepared to go to survive a situation beyond anyone's control. It's quite hard to give any major plot details as a result but suffice to say Messrs. Bunker & Awalt have put a lot of thought and research in to the science involved in the situations they are portraying and this greatly helps the narrative, which whisks along nicely while fiendishly planting a seed in the mind of the reader that the events unfolding before them are entirely possible, without sounding like a frothy-mouthed conspiracy theorist.

This is essentially where the Wick series does it's best work. Bunker writes with the knowledge, attitude and intelligence of an educator, but a good one. Not the self-imploding hoary old crank who's despises every student who's ever passed through his classroom, but the rare confident, dedicated, engaging one we see all too little of these days, guiding the reader but ultimately allowing them to make their own observations.

5.0 out of 5 stars Get this book and enjoy it. 7 Aug. 2013

I had to wait for each installment in the Wick series, you now can get the Omnibus Edition, fully re-edited. You lucky people.

This may be a fictional story but the truth that underlies the fiction will leave you wanting more and more. I could go into a big description of how one man can touch many peoples lives or how the book exposes our fragile society for what it truly is, but the real thing is "Buy This Book."

You will not be disappointed.

I am now a fan of Michael Bunker after reading this. Really good story, great characters, and wonderful philosophic asides about the End of the World as We Know It.

Definitely a different take on it, and a darned good read. Couldn't put it down.

SPOILER ALERT: (And you can tell the strength of a storyteller by his ability to allow some of his strongest characters to die.)
