Control your heating from any web browser or our iPhone app.
Q: What are the wiring requirements of this thermostat.
A: It requires 230v (L,N) to power the thermostat, and then it offers a volt free changeover contact for the heating circuit. In simple terms, if your existing thermostat has three wires, excluding the earth - you can upgrade.
Q: I already have a Heatmiser PRT/PRT-TS installed and would like to upgrade to this model, is that possible?
A: Yes, you can upgrade to this model.
Q: Do I need anything else to control my heating from the web or iPhone app?
A: You will need a WiFi router with port forwarding facility (most do) and if you don't have a fixed IP from your internet supplier, you will need to use a service called DynDNS. Don't worry - although we can't offer support on individual routers, we can certainly point you in the right direction.
Q: Where do I get the iPhone app, and how much does it cost?
A: You get this from the AppStore from your iPhone. It is a free app.
Q: Are you designing an Android app.
Q: I want to control multiple WiFi Thermostats from the web or iPhone, is it possible.
A: You can control multiple WiFi Thermostats within your home, by entering the individual IP address for each thermostat, however remote access to multiple thermostats isn't possible at this time.
Q: Will it be possible to control multiple WiFi Thermostats via the web/iPhone in the future?
A: Yes, we are working on this now - and hope to have an interface module available early in 2012.
