Barry Norman says:
Nils must be making a pretty penny from touring with the E Street Band - so does he really need to sell this box set at this ridiculous price? The people who are going to buy it (if indeed they do) are fans who'll have the vast majority of this stuff anyway. It might have been a nice gesture by Nils to put this product out at a reasonable price to say thanks to his fans for sticking by him over the years despite considerable variation in the quality of his work.

I would rather have seen the label or Nils release reissues of his entire catalog as deluxe editions that would be more enticing to purchase as well as making it affordable to fans and non fans alike.

Brilliant idea. I'd certainly be first in line to buy all the albums - remastered with a selection of unreleased/live tracks/demos. Unfortunately I get the idea that Nils wasn't exactly prolific in the studio and we've already got the vast majority of his studio output. It's a real pity that no one had the foresight to record stuff like Nils' acoustic Palladium gig back in the 80s, or that Nils didn't record more covers back in the day.
