Having re-read the book, I really don't understand why everyone feels compelled to give it 5 stars etc..

Sre the novels as a whole are very good, but this book is pretty poor.

The dialouge, the action the way everything seems to build-up from encounter after encounter. Rowling obviously improved throughout the books (see 6 or 7) but this book is not the classic read eveyone is making it out to be.

The dialouge is indeed terrible. It's a good think that JK Rowling used dialogues instead.
