There will be very easy for Amazon, only must publish the back of the box-set, an there are all the information. Plus Subtitles and languages.
We´ll must to require it in every item. It´s to easy.

Odd the manufacturers [ITV.com] don't supply all the info - or even seem to have much of a Cadfael website at all. They do mention the series was filmed in Hungary as "the welsh borders didn't have enough 'old' landscape - they built Cadfael's world using local Hungarian craftsmen. However, filming was occasionally spoiled by trains heading towards Budapest". Interesting, but no hint on any of the DVD sets or even the episode number and titles.

Amazon buyers can offer to 'Update product info' and supply images [probably not to reading resolution though] - but the addition of these discussion forums is ideal for that anyway, other than you being reliant on other Amazon buyers goodwill - and Amazon not bothering to do it no doubt keeps prices down to the minimum [Amazon prices often come in at a fraction of most shop based retailers]. Trouble is sometimes there are various PAL UK DVD editions supplied with different langauages and sometimes even different extras [eg. Supernatural] - seems to happen mostly with US shows though.

It's the manufacturer's really who should provide this info for Amazon and us]. The BBC shop generally has more details on their DVDs [well until the Conservatives get back in and shuts it down to help out their mate Murdoch at Sky], but as every BBC set is invariably English stereo audio and English subtitles for the deaf-&hard-of-hearing only it's not always that helpful.

I can never find any detail about most DVD sets [other than the tiltle] on the internet, and sadly mostly the best info is on the likes Amazon & Play.com. At least they get the basic details right [i.e. this is the full set with all seasons of Cadfael]. This 'blue' all seasons set looks pretty similar to the old 'brown' version [well absolutely identical actually]. For the extras see my review.

Brother Cadfael: "Oswin? When you entered these walls you renounced the world... not your senses!"

Brother Cadfael: "There is no shame in tears, if they are worth shedding."

Amazon UK should mention more details about their offers especially, subtitles, languages other than English, and so on...Is it asking too much ?
