This book charts the demise of the Communitarian waffle which led to the creation of segregation and insular societies within the United Kingdom. The obvious way forward was an integrationist model albeit 'The Big Society'. The book advocates the Big Society as a comprehensive ideology which will ensure that integration will take place and that Britain does not become a breeding ground of hatred and insular ideologies. A must read for any social policy or social science student.
