About the Author

The author, Jen Green, worked in publishing for 15 years and is now a full-time writer, who has written over 50 books for children. Her book 'Your Feelings: I'm Special' was short-listed for the NASEN Special Needs Award. The illustrator, Mike Gordon, is an ever-popular and award-winning cartoonist. He has produced over 500 cards for Hallmark and over 300 picture books for various publishers.

The book is written in a really friendly way and is designed to engage with younger readers. It's the kind of book we should all read to our kids - books like this, and newer ones like yucketypoo are pitched at the right level to engage and explain important issues. We loved it.

I decided to get this book as my daughter is doing a project on recycling... it's fun, interesting and caught her attention!! Highly recommended if you wish to introduce your young child to the world of recycling.
