I love these books - they deliver a really important message in a way which appeals to younger children. With books like this, and Yucketypoo, there's lots of ways for parents to engage children.

HASH(0x9a142084) out of 5 stars Love it! 5 April 2012
By Mom of Three - Published on
Format: Paperback
This is a great introduction for children to the importance of taking care of nature. It has a very clear and simple message of how our actions can effect nature. There are example of how children pick flowers, break branches, swat at bees, and litter and the effects that can have on nature. Then examples are given for actions the children can take to protect nature; for example, pick up litter and plant flowers and trees. I highly recommend this book.

HASH(0x9a1420cc) out of 5 stars Why indeed? 6 July 2007

It's a cute idea, but the very short book doesn't have much substance. I was looking for more "meat" to explain outdoor manners to kids on a more environmental scale. Lots of cute illustrations, though.

Good book for young children, it teaches the importance of caring for our environment. Simple steps we can all do to help take care of our planet.
