So here we are! probably the answer that many people have been looking for(myself included).written in a style that gets the message across in a clear,concise fashion.
ever wondered why we struggle to lose weight when you have tried everything and every diet going.well i lost 14lbs in 7 days and never starved myself once!!to date i have lost 27lbs(in three weeks).my start weight was 24st 11lbs i now weigh 22st 12lbs (still a long way to go,but now feel positive and empowered to attain the physique of my adolescence)
for the price of the book,i became armed with some very very good information.which works for me and has transformed the way i look at so many different foods. my bowel problems cleared up (after the first couple of days,which weren't pretty). and i still continue to lose weight,without going to the gym(which by the way i still recommend)and with amazing elevations in mood.i could go on,but i really do think you should be trying this out for yourself.it is without doubt the best book i have read (without pictures)and oh so helpful.my opinion is that you will gain so much insight and joy at the results that come your way with very little sacrifice!

I am in my mid-sixties and have had weight problems for 30 years. For the first time ever, I am now in control of my weight and my eating. I have already lost 25lbs since December 10th and am well on to achieving my goal. Despite Harcombe saying that it is not complicated, it is not exactly straightforward either. This book has to be read through before starting the eating plan, and dipped into along the way. Really, you need the recipe book too, as there are some questions that were only answered when I read the two in tandem. But it has worked for me. I am healthier and have more energy than I have had for years.

I bought this book at the airport on my way on holiday in the summer and read every page. I have bought another copy for my daughter from Amazon and recommended to someone else who also bought it!!
This works for me, so I was a bit dissapointed to see the somewhat negative reviews. I lost 6 lbs in the first five days and this proved a very useful start for a long term dieter! I have now lost 15 lbs in 2 months and I have had another 3 week holiday in Spain since the summer. Yes it does seem to amalagamate a couple of diets, but having already used a diet of low carbs and found it worked, it was interesting to use the other idea of seperating the carbs and proteins at each meal I believe that this is like the Hay diet.

Whatever it is it has worked well for me,has reduced my cravings for certain foods and I have lost weight more easily, than in a long time!!! . I look forward to the cookery book!
