5.0 out of 5 stars Well written and informative, 14 Feb 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Why Does My Horse...? (Hardcover)
Dr McGreevy's experience as a riding instructor, veterinary surgeon and behavioural scientist radiates throughout this well-written manual. With just the right amount of humour and some charming illustrations, he explains how the domestic horse's behaviour is predicted by the instincts of his ancestors. With the accent on horse welfare, it is easy to see why the Universities Federation for Animal Welfare described the book as 'invaluable'.

2.0 out of 5 stars For beginners, 3 Oct 2010
By MYRIAD TRAINING - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Why Does My Horse...? (Why Does My . . . ? Series) (Paperback)
This is ok for the novice with little to no understanding of behavioral evolution. Do not expect to find any help for addressing unwanted behavior. This is only a compilation if simple explanations for common behaviors which are often considered vices.
