If you are looking for a book which will help a child understand diversity in a Christian context, then this will probably be the book for you. If you are looking for a book to help explain the differences a young child notices between boys and girls, this is not the book. It is part of a series "for the Christian Family", which is, crucially, missing from the product information summary. The tone of the book can be summed up by the section which deals with babies. Two grown ups fall in love and get married, they decide they would like a baby to share their love. "God answers their prayer and then the baby grows inside its mother for nine months". This is great if you hold similar beliefs, but not at all helpful if you don't.
