Product Description

At a quarter to four on a Tuesday afternoon, a ten-year-old boy ran at full speed round a corner, tripped over his long stripy scarf, and fell several hundred miles down a manhole. 5.0 out of 5 stars Whump! rocks, 22 Nov 2004
Whump is a great book about a boy who falls down a manhole and encounters an alien, a scruffy princess and a very jangly forest elf. It IS VERY FUNNY and keeps you on tenterhooks through the whole book.I read it and couldnt put it down, lying in bed trying 2 finish it.
A great read from an award winning author.
James Dolton from reading, age 12

In the best tradition of children's fiction which can be enjoyed by adults, the author has produced a highly intelligent, laugh-out-loud classic. Steal this from small relatives immediately.
