Product Description

Amazon.co.uk Review

Turn the page, read the clues ... and try to guess whose house is whose! With the help of riddles taken from fairy tales, children will find clues in the highly detailed illustrations on every page. The cast of characters includes the Three Bears, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, the Three Little Pigs and Goldilocks. Colin and Jacqui Hawkins provide an alternative approach to the traditional stories, with flaps to lift and plenty of objects to find. The detailed pictures provide plenty for children to discover as they enjoy the simple rhyming tales and work out the riddles. --Philippa Reece

Review

Unravel the rhymes and look inside the houses to discover who the house belongs to. In this beautifully illustrated lift-the-flap book, young children will love meeting their favourite fairytale characters and following the clues to work out who lives where. The 3 R’s

Great Fun 16 Feb 2006
By BoyMom - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
My youngest son (now 3) has loved this book since he was 18 months. And even his older brothers will come to listen when we read this book to add their own silly stories. The riddles are silly and invite discussion and retelling of classic children's stories. The activity inside the houses is simple enough to engage very young children and detailed enough that children continue to find them interesting as they grow older and more observant. I am buying this as a present for other toddlers I know and love.
