i brought this book expecting it to be packed with interesting information about people, but instead i found it to be lacking in certain information.
there are much better books out there that deal with the subject of people
so avoid this one.

Good introductory book to famous British

An excellent account of British people who shaped the history, written by notable historians with vaste expertise in the field. Recommended for reference use and superb for general knowledge build-up.
