Wow, what can I say. How do I describe this?
An unusual spacey electronic style chillout based on an undercurrent of rap with hints of reggae, and an awesomely deep, rich, sonic driving bass throughout.
Not your usual electronic chillout, but may leave you wanting to listen over and over. Whoever Heyoka are or whichever dimension they're from, 10/10 to you beings!

Heyoka is from San Francisco but one look at the US Amazon site shows not a flicker of recognition back home. Another of those examples of a profit of dub being recognised abroad?

Well this plays our well with European sensibilities for deep and deranged dub but all mashed up with a fine soupçon of electronics and crazy cross fades. At once its very trad heavy dub but on the other hand the choice of sounds crosses over into trance and electro-techno. Kind of post industrial Kraftwerk heavy dub. Contemporary. Fabu-louse.
