Essentially the Wii version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire is just like any other version: you're presented with the same format as the TV show - trying to answer 15 multiple-choice questions in a row to win a virtual wad of cash, £1 million. The game offers a range of easy to mind-numbing questions, following a similar level of difficulty to the show. There are a huge amount of questions however, so a chance of receiving the same in the following rounds is fairly low.
Chris Tarrant aids the game with a series of video bytes, which add to the interactivity/realism of the TV show but eventually becomes so repetitive you feel like gagging him up or wishing for a skip button. Questions aren't read at all, leaving you with silent thought. A non-Chris voice would have been beneficial to getting through the questions. The same applies to phone a friend, where you're really not phoning anyone at all but presented with some text that's supposedly thinking about it.
For those wanting to share the experience, a 2 player mode allows for competitive play with players taking each question in turn to win the most dosh. Aside from solo or 2 player, that's about it in terms of what you can play. Extra players would have been beneficial, or some form of additional content or a multimedia mode with pictures/video to add some incentive/difference to the TV show.
Essentially a good game if you're a fan of the show, but certainly not worth the price wanted for the game. Would be worth picking up in a bargain bin or as part of a bundle of games.
