Talent far beyond there age. 14 Nov. 2013

Great band theses guys are going places. Most of them are under 18 and it really doesn't show here. Watch for these guys to blow up they have a lot more skill than a lot of bigger artists.

Who Needs You - Sounds kind of like Kings of Leon meets Strokes? great song and very catchy

Open Your eyes - It does sound like the Misfits, but that's not a bad thing has a great garage rock vibe to it and is instantly famillar without trying to sound like Glenn or Horror punks, I think the Orwells pull it off well

Salvation Is A Parking Lot - Again it sounds like Black Lips, but Orwells definitely give it there own vibe and it is another likeable track.

Halloween All Year - This is a live cut from the album Remember When, it's still just as good here, the lyrics are kind of dark but the song is still catchy. It is a bit slower in pace then the other songs on the Ep but that in no way makes it a bad.

So yeah...pick this up today

Now we're getting somewhere! As David Letterman said 21 Jan. 2014

It's an EP and only four songs long, but what an EP. There are songs here that echo back to different eras of rock - namely the fifties and the seventies, yet somehow it doesn't sound derivative. These guys have taken that sound and formed it into their own brand of sonic fury, with a classically steady and interesting rhythm section courtesy of the Brinner Brothers, the controlled chaos of guitarists O'Keefe and Corso and the angst driven and intelligently written and delivered lyrics of vocalist Mario Cuomo, the band is at once fresh and classic.

Certainly worth a listen, or repeated ones, the EP fits nicely with my collection of New York Dolls and Stooges records, and my Smith Westerns, Fidlar and Arctic Monkeys CD's.
Something To Save From Oblivion 5 Feb. 2014

Mistakenly, I ordered a vinyl pancake in a paper box rather than a disc bearing music, but hey, no problem goblin. Orwell is a fine musical phenomenon that needs much more attention that it seems to be getting, probably because silver-haired devils in Hollywood want to crush the entire world with objects like Justin Beiber and Miley Cyrus. The really fine music is, as usual, living like the proverbial candle under a barrel.

I'm keeping this 10 inch, not because it is a pretty possession but that it will more than likely grow exponentially in value in the oncoming future. I've got "Who Needs You" backed-up against the shelf, ostensibly for safekeeping, not merely because I like to look at it under cellophane, but because I prize true music that needs much more attention than it receives from the money-panderers and greed-heads of LA--chumpy old guys who think they're better than Pee Wee Herman on a bicycle.

I'm not listening to those idiots; I am listening to "Orwell", and plan to keep the music both to listen-to and to cherish. Orwell and I seem to make a great match.
