Product Description

It's shocking to learn that the first words out of Vernon Presley's mouth when he learned of his son’s death were "My God! They've murdered my son!" It's even more shocking to learn that immediately following the funeral Elvis' father accused members of the Memphis Mafia of murdering Elvis. Elvis father wasn't alone; Presley's doctor, girlfriend and chief of security all thought there was foul play.

When Elvis' body was removed from Graceland to be taken to the hospital criminal Investigators were immediately dispatched to the death scene; the upstairs of Graceland. When they arrived, the entire death scene had been sanitized. An investigation wasn’t possible – who ordered it? Meanwhile back at the hospital all of Elvis Presley's stomach contents were being dumped down the sink so they could not be analyzed. About this time Joe Esposito, Elvis’ Road Manager and group foreman had just told the cameras that he had found Elvis dead in bed. Two hours later the location had changed.

That night the Investigators car was burglarized and the only items missing were the notes and photos of the death scene. Thirty years later an Elvis researcher was murdered on his way to give the key note speech at an Elvis Presley research conference. He had just purchased letters written by Elvis naming people who were threatening his life. The previously unpublished and unknown facts of Elvis Presley's death have been hidden for years, but now, finally, the truth must be revealed.

1.0 out of 5 stars poor / overpriced book 6 Sep 2012
By Barreno
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
this really is tat !! ....cut`n`paste job, badly written (a ten year old-could do better) all the `facts` in this book are ripped-off from someone else`s already published work !! ... the conclusion - `the colonel had him killed` .. save your money .. or buy `the death of Elvis` a much better book-where most of the `quotes` come from.

4.0 out of 5 stars who murdered elvis? 26 Sep 2012
By alison - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
After reading this book i can honestly say it has made me think differently about the way Elvis died. I never believed the rumours that he had been murdered. The authour of this book has really reasurched the way Elvis lived and the trust he put, wrongly at times, into the people around him. I hope this will make the American authorities open up a new investigation into exactly what happened that terrible day the world lost the best entertainer there has ever been. Sleep in peace Elvis love you forever.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Read 25 Aug 2012
By tabithag - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
This was a very interesting read. Though I have never believed Elvis was murdered, I couldnt help but want to read this book. My curiosity got the best of me when it was being advertised in Memphis during Elvis week (not by EPE). My husband and I took time away from the festivities to go buy the book. I spent that evening and some of the next day reading it cover to cover. Besides some grammatical errors (poor editting) and not the best writing in general (to me some things were left unanswered imo), you could not help but to question everything you ever heard regarding Elvis' death. I am now very torn as to what happened and wonder why his estate hasn't demanded more answers! Rather you are an Elvis fan or just like a good mystery, you must read this book!

4.0 out of 5 stars A Real Life Murder Mystery 24 Sep 2013
By Jerry McGarrity - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
This is a fascinating look behind the scenes in the life of a rock and roll legend and a highly-readable who-done-it, especially because all of the characters are real people. The author takes the reader through a logical and very interesting analysis of the many suspects, along with their motives and opportunities, and describes the death scene at Graceland and how it was sanitized. The book is thoroughly researched and makes a compelling case about the murder of Elvis Presley and the subsequent cover-up. The writing style is passionate and hard-hitting but every statement is backed up by the facts. Sure to be enjoyed by Elvis fans, crime buffs, and conspiracy theorists.
