Product Description

Sarah Jessica Parker, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Broderick, Brooke Shields, Susan Sarandon and Spike Lee. Who Do You Think You Are? USA follows the journeys of six well known US personalities as they explore their family trees, uncover their family history and discover surprising and enlightening facts about their heritage that until now have been lost in time. One finds a long lost relative in Europe, while another finds someone unexpected nearer home. One uncovers the secret life of an absent Grandmother, another finds their heart beats with Royal blood. One finds honour and solves an historic mystery on a Civil War battlefield, another finds themselves immersed in the Salem Witch Trials. The USA is a young country, but its stories reach back through many generations, often uncovering breathtaking revelations and bloodlines that made history.

5.0 out of 5 stars USA Who do you think you are 14 July 2011
Have enjoyed this DVD. Arrived in good time. The only slight criticism, is that one of the people in the preview didn't appear in the actual film.

4.0 out of 5 stars Who Do You Think You Are - U.S. [DVD] 22 May 2011
By Kim M
I had this from dvd rental company and it wasn't the same as the BBC broadcast version. This is most certainly the US version! American voiceover, lots of background music, repeated "previously..." flashback slots etc. But still well worth a watch, the content is very good indeed.

2.0 out of 5 stars Missing episode ? 6 Feb 2011
The DVD of 'Who Do You Think You Are' USA Series One appears to be missing an episode since the broadcast version featured seven stories. The opening voiceover and titles for the US series always included Emmitt Smith ... so why are we being shortchanged ?

As an aside I see that Kim Cattrall is due to feature in 'Who Do You Think You Are' USA Series Two. This will prove an interesting comparison as the same person was featured in UK 'Who Do You Think You Are' Series Six.
