A baby animal hatches. But who is he? He asks the other animals around him and eventually finds out where he belongs.

My son was already familiar with chameleons so he thoroughly enjoyed pointing out the colour changes on each page to match the new animals.
It was nice to share with him all the facta about each species too.

Toby Ross's eccentric and bold illustrations complemented the story. It was a lovely journey with the baby chameleon on his way to his realisations, with welcome repetition, animal facts, and gentle humour.

Great early story from Phinn.

I bought the book as a first birthday present for my great nephew - it went down very well with his parents who are both schoolteachers!

The illustrations are amazing!
