5.0 out of 5 stars wonderful little book and toy 25 Feb 2012
By Ioannis Glinavos VINE™ VOICE
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Vine™ Review (What's this?)
I love the concept here. A little book that is also a toy (looks like a taxi and has wheels). It introduces key landmarks of London (correctly named for once!) with nice vivid illustrations. My 2year old loves it. It makes a great book to travel with as it is compact and easy to play with.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Illustrations 21 Feb 2012
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is a sweet book with simple, short, text and charming illustrations. I have recently started a bedtime routine with my 8 month old where we read a simple story or two. Baby seemed to like looking at all of the detail in each scene and also liked reaching out for the wheels. Also, since it is a board book, it is suitable to hand to her at the end of the story for a tactile experience and exploration!

Another plus is that I don't find the text annoying. Lastly, since we live in London it's nice to see the things in our city, though that is really more for my benefit than baby's!

So pleased with this book that I have ordered the Bus version.

I saw this book at a shop but then decided to buy on Amazon as it's cheaper here. My son really loves it. Every page has loads of details for us to chat about. I have since bought two more copies of this book and the London Bus one for his cousins. Highly recommended!

A nice little book for my nephew to explain some fun bits about where his auntie and uncle live. He loves spinning the wheels and reading along. A great purchase.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not a book, not a toy, just a gimmick
This book is hardback with wheels at the bottom, but books are very thin of course so it's not going to stand up on its wheels by itself, so it's not a replacement for a toy car. Read more
