Product Description

Born in the south of England in 1854, Aremis thought his life was laid out from the very beginning. But that was all to change. Expecting to meet his wife-to-be at the annual harvest festival, Aremis has no idea that the evening would bring forth an evil far beyond his comprehension. Nursed back to health by his sister Temperance, the terrifying truth begins to unfold and he is forced to leave his home in the hope of finding answers within the city of London. There on the shadowy back streets of the city's east end, he finds himself at the heart of an ancient curse. Drawn into playing a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with a stranger, he quickly discovers that they, may be the only one who can explain the strange events that have besieged him. Haunted by nightmares and conflicting moral issues, he is propelled towards an unbelievable confrontation, one that will find him in the center of the most horrific string of murders in London's history.

Couldn't put it down 12 April 2011
By Christopher Dean - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
From the very first page, I was hooked and each chapter brought a new twist.

I haven't read a book cover to cover in one sitting for years and this one brought that joy back to me.

Compellingly written, Mr. Mallows brings the characters, situations and settings to life in vivid detail without boring us.

Its not an easy book to review without giving spoilers as it twists and turns, yet always maintains a cohesive storyline.

An oustanding first book, my only regret is having to wait for the next one.

A Book worth the read 11 April 2011
By ge in kazoo - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
A good Tale is often retold. This is a retelling of a Tale we all know something about.. The Unsolved Mystery of Whitechapel Road Murders.

Everyone has a theory. Many Books have been written, movies made, and seminars given. Some of the top forensic minds have tried to name the culprit.. Yet Mr Mallows Takes the reader through the tale of a young man his life forever changed by a chance meeting that shows perhaps a different theory not even considered.

Looking forward to the next book, can tell this is not the end.

Loved this book!!! 11 April 2011
By Darlene Ruiz - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I came across Wayne Mallow's facebook page by accident about a year ago and very happy I did. I love books about Vampires but was looking for something different. Something other then the mortal girl falling in love with the dashing vampire. I'm not knocking those kind of books but you will find something completely different with Whitechapel Road A Vampyre Tale. I loved how the author incorporated Jack the Ripper into his tale. I couldnt put the book down and I'm anxiously looking forward to it's sequel. I need to know what happened to Aremis and "Mary"...
