It depends on the size of the hand, I think it should be a 8 ounce. But it may be smaller, and if it is you should go for specific child sizes some brands have it, and in those brands he should be an L or even an XL the bigger child size they have is the right one for him. hope it helped

It depends on his size and weight, it sould be an 8 once, but if he his to tall or to heavy you can try the 10 once. Both sizes will fit him the bigger the size the hevier the glove.

My son was 5 when i got the 6oz and they fit perfect so i would go for the bigger sizes

They all do, it´s standard for all brands, to prevent injury .
