Having spent three years in the armed forces in the late 70s,I can fully appreciate the amount of time & research that must have been given,too fully paint what surely must be a fair account of the narcotics trade on a global scale.The author has clearly put immense time & effort in trying too convey a realistic & gritty portrayal of what is supposed to be a true story of events which actually happened.The attention to detail that goes into the story,clearly conveys what a sorry state of affairs the drug detection agencies have too work under immense pressure,in bringing forward any possible prosecution.My review was written too try & encourage people too read what is a truly harrowing story.

If you like the mindless action movies, with subterfuge, heaps of undercover work and a body count like a Rambo movie you will enjoy this book. The story could have ended about three times but keeps twisting and turning to the point where it is quite unbelievable. But I didn't buy it thinking it was a documentary. Entertaining yarn and worth a read.

An enjoyable enough yarn based around an undercover operation against drug dealers. The story kept my attention throughout and had a decent twist towards the end. On the downside the ending was a bit too unbelievable for my tastes. Good enough though to get me reading some more Terence Strong.
